Can you share the story behind the founding of Ecoolska, and what inspired you to create a brand focused on sustainability and innovation in the fashion industry?

The inspiration behind launching Ecoolska was to create a brand that embodies sustainability, innovation and technology. Olska Green (CEO) loves nature very much and wants to save this incredible beauty! Nature, great people, art, and innovations are big inspirations for her! Olska uses technology to create clothes that are not only beautiful, but also sustainable, innovative, stylish and functional. Olska believes that fashion has the power to make a positive impact on the environment, and she wanted to be a part of that change.

The use of retro colors in the MOTOLOVE collection creates a distinctive visual impact showcasing a unique blend of retro motorcycle wear, streetwear and bold, colorful designs. Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind this collection?

An interesting story behind the creation of the outfits:

Unique upcycling collection “MOTOLOVE” carries a very deep and important meaning:

We show emancipation and inner liberation through our designs, discovering sexuality, female essence and sensuality.

Italy has a huge influence on Olska Green in terms of opening her femininity, sexuality and nature of being herself. The representation of motorcycles gives us the feeling of bravery and courage. Last year Olska was forced to become provocative and find adventure in order to transform and be reborn. And Italy has become an ideal country to make a step forward towards feminine essence. Transformation has happened. The film “In Search of Fellini” inspired Olska when the main character enters the phase of adulthood.

How does the MOTOLOVE collection embody the core values of Ecoolska, and what message do you want to convey through its unique designs?

Our fashion brand Ecoolska is moving forward and taking brave steps towards a bright future! We made a breakthrough this year — we are transforming from a local to an international brand! We are visible to every country and every continent! We are turning into an iconic brand that combines upcycling, digital fashion and sustainable eco fashion.

And we are making a revolution and growing! We are showing how to transform and be sexy, interesting, catchy and eco friendly at the same time! We are showing freedom — you can be anyone you like but do not harm the people and planet!

How do you see the future of fashion evolving with the growth of the Metaverse and digital fashion? What role do you envision Ecoolska playing in this transformation?

We are excited about the potential for digital fashion to bring more inclusivity and diversity to the industry. With virtual garments, there are no size constraints, allowing for clothing that can fit anyone. It also allows for more experimentation and creativity, as designers are not limited by the constraints of physical production. We see digital fashion continuing to evolve and push the boundaries of what is possible in fashion.

We think that NFTs and the metaverse have the potential to create new opportunities for digital fashion. With NFTs, digital garments can become collectible and valuable, creating a new market for virtual fashion. Especially NFTs with utility (physical twin, access to private parties etc). NFT and blockchain will play an important role in the fashion industry as it helps prevent counterfeits. The market for fakes in the fashion industry is as big as the fashion industry itself. NFT is like a passport ID of identification.

Can you elaborate on the process of creating digital twins for your physical activewear and the integration of NFC chips for transparency and utility?

We create digital twins of our physical activewear and implement NFC chips to show transparency and create the utility for our virtual object. Next Season we plan to produce “plastic free” biodegradable innovative activewear made from seaweed/algae with NFC chips. We plan to implement NFC to our new activewear line in order to allow our customers to track the products around the world, ensure their authenticity, and create a direct two-way communication channel with consumers via their smartphone, used as an NFC reader.

With the MOTOLOVE collection being sold at a charity auction to support ocean plastic cleanup, how does Ecoolska plan to continue its commitment to environmental causes and social responsibility in the future?

In the future all of our upcycling collections will be dedicated to grab the attention of the society to the environmental issues and all proceeds will go to charity.

Upcycling collections will be sold at a charity auction in a single copy and the proceeds will be forwarded to help to clean up the ocean from plastic and plant trees. We are already acting as  volunteers and we are cleaning up the ocean and planting trees as our brand team.

We plan to give 10% to charity and support children’s education, too

We support 17 UN goals.

Moreover, in Portugal we have Zero Waste production, because we sew without residues and the fabric is sewn from algae (this is a biodegradable fabric) and at all stages we are paying attention to every tiny detail and  do not harm the planet.

How do you see the role of 3D avatars, like Ecoolska’s brand ambassador Olska, evolving in the fashion industry and the wider world of digital experiences?

Implementing 3D avatars  bridges a gap between virtual and physical worlds. Sometimes these avatars focus on personalizing the shopping experience to make it more accurate and suitable for the client.

Have you met the 3D avatar Olska? She plays an enormous part in eco-education. Olska popularized the idea of digital fashion. On each post and in every video she wears our digital fashion outfits and promotes the idea of digital fashion usage. We believe that we can develop a sustainable society through art and fashion. We develop new habits and new values among youth.
