Creative Space Beirut
Creative Space Beirut (CSB) is a free, non-profit fashion design school in Beirut, founded in 2011. It offers a three-year programme to talented young people who cannot afford fashion education.
About the school
CSB was founded in June 2011 by Sarah Hermez, a Parsons graduate, and her former Parsons teacher, the designer Caroline Shlala-Simonelli. It operates as a non-profit supported by a for-profit social enterprise.

The school looks for students across Lebanon, including in refugee camps and orphanages, and teaches them for three years at no cost. Its first five graduates showed their work in November 2015, and CSB launched a ready-to-wear label that year. It also helps graduates with internships and job placements.
