Griffith College Dublin
Griffith College Dublin is Ireland’s largest private third-level college. Its Faculty of Design teaches fashion in a three-year BA in Fashion Design and a three-year BA (Hons) in Fashion Design.
About the school
Griffith College began in 1974 as Business and Accounting Training, started awarding degrees in 1990, and now has campuses in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Its main campus is on the South Circular Road in Dublin 8.
Fashion
The three-year BA in Fashion Design is a Level 7 degree and the three-year BA (Hons) is a Level 8 degree, both validated by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). The courses emphasise project-based learning, with students designing and making a collection from concept to construction and no written exams on the honours course. Graduating students show work at the annual Griffith Creative exhibition and fashion show, and graduates have gone on to internships and roles with fashion companies in Ireland and abroad.
