Fashion

Fashion has been taught here since the 1960s. The college launched a Fashion Marketing programme in 1966, and in 1973 it founded its School of Fashion with a three-year Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Fashion Design. Quebec’s education ministry recognises LaSalle as its specialised centre for fashion.

The Fashion Design DEC (571.A0) includes a footwear and accessory concentration developed with the ALDO Group. In 1995 LaSalle joined with the Université du Québec à Montréal to create the École supérieure de mode de Montréal, which allows students to earn a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and management.
