Mod’Art International Sri Lanka is a franchise of the Paris fashion school Mod’Art International, launched in Colombo in October 2014 by the Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology (LIFT).

About the school

The school was launched on 10 October 2014 at the BMICH in Colombo by LIFT, which was founded in 2000 by Niroshani Leanage. Its modules mirror those at Mod’Art International Paris and are offered in partnership with the University of Perpignan in France.

Fashion

At launch it offered a Bachelor (Hons) in Fashion Design and an MBA in Luxury Goods and Fashion Industries from 2015. Students can transfer to Mod’Art International in Paris for their third and fourth years, study French with Alliance Française, and visit France in their second year. More than 100 graduates have come through since 2015, and its founders received a French honour for their work.
