Ton Duc Thang University
Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a public university in Ho Chi Minh City. Fashion is taught in its Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, which also covers graphic, interior and industrial design.
About the school
TDTU was founded in 1997 and describes itself as an autonomous public university. Its Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts was set up on 3 September 2003 and has four fields of training: Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Industrial Design.
Fashion
The Bachelor of Fashion Design was one of two TDTU programmes assessed by the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) body in February 2024. Students stage graduation shows, such as a 2018 gala with 50 collections, and have won prizes at competitions including RLSD Vietnam 2026 for leather design and a national costume design contest linked to Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.
